CLIMBERS / Ground Person Needed
Cleveland, Ohio – east side (Solon area)
Ornamental Tree & Shrub Ltd. is seeking career oriented individuals that are willing to learn
on the job and who aspire to become a Certified Arborist / Certified Landscape Installer. We are
a “holistic” plant health care service that prides itself in following the latest scientific research
and implementing it in the field. We service the entire woody plant spectrum for clients who are
exacting and knowledgeable. Our diverse list of services include but are not limited to; pruning
of trees and shrubs, cabling, tree / shrub removal, insect and disease control, fertilization and
installation of plant materials.
The ideal candidate/s will possess: a well rounded knowledge of botany / plant identification
skills, standard tree / shrub care practices, ANSI A300 & Z133.1 standards, climbing, pruning,
rigging and removal skills, planting skills, good communication / math skills, general equipment
maintenance capabilities, ability to learn and follow proper safety practices. Willingness / ability
to obtain ISA Certified Arborist Certification / ISA Tree Worker Certification / OLA Landscape
Technician Certification within a given time frame a plus. A current and valid driver’s license is
required; a Class B CDL is desirable. We operate within a safety conscious workplace that is
substance and tobacco free. A company health care plan is available, paid vacation days and
equipment / uniform allowance also.

We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $ 10.00 per hour for a trainee. Other pay rates
are based on demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience. Qualified applicants will be
asked to fill out an application, be screened and participate in a selection process. The position
(s) are available immediately and will be filled as soon as possible.
